THE RED DEER WELLNESS SHOW MARCH 20TH AND 21

What a wonderful event that turned out to be.  Thank you so much to all of you who showed up and either had readings, entered the draw, bought the cd’s or who just stopped in to say hello.  It was so great to have the chance to share our work with you.  As you all know we also had a draw there and here are the winners:

There were so many good things that came out of the wellness show, especially considering this is the first one to be held.   Big thanks to the Kachkar Group from Edmonton who pulled it all together.

BELLY ELEGANCE DANCE STUDIO IN RED DEER

I am delighted to recommend a fitness routine that looks like a lot of fun for gal pals to take in on a Monday evening.  It is Turkish Belly Dancing that is being taught at Belly Elegance Dance Studio here in Red Deer. They did demonstrations at the show and it looks like such fun. For Information on classes just click here to a  link to their website .  Gloria and I will be joining in the eight week classes starting in May.  Come out and belly dance with us!   Now, if I can just get my arms and hips in sync…….

CLINICAL IRIDOLOGY ANALYSIS WITH CERTIFIED IRIDOLOGIST BERTTIE AEBLY Berttie had her Iridology photo machine at the show and was taking photos of eyes so she could provide details to clients about their systemic health.  Curiosity got the better of me and I had my eyes photographed and will have the follow up consultation in the first week of May.  I have offered Berttie the use of the Studio facility for her follow-up consultations  as she is not locally based.  I will keep all of you posted so you can know when she next is coming to Red Deer.

This Thursday March 25, there is a WELLNESS FAIR taking place AT BOWER MALL IN RED DEER  9am to 9pm .  I will be there with a table to provide information to people who want to chat.  I will not be marketing product or doing readings but will be free to book appointments at the Studio should you wish.  There will also be a listening station for you to hear our meditation CD’s so come on out and say hi.  I am only one of several tables and you never know what else you may take an interest in, so I hope we will see you there.  I will be holding a draw at the end of the day for a free reading and for a set of the meditation cd’s – be sure to get your name entered.

WALK FOR WILDLIFE

The Canadian Wildlife Federation is hosting a Walk for Wildlife at the Calgary Zoo on Saturday, April 10. You are invited to share this celebration of National Wildlife Week and the International Year for Biodiversity.

Admission to the zoo is included with registration and you can R.S.V.P by e-mailing heatherr@cwf-fcf.org. CWF will set up a registration table at the North Entrance of the Zoo at 12:30 pm to meet guests and distribute zoo passes, then everyone will gather in Esso Auditorium at 1:30 pm for welcome remarks and greetings. Zoo guides will take guests on a tour of the Canadian Wilds then back to the Esso Auditorium for snacks and refreshments courtesy CWF.

This event is part of a national campaign encouraging Canadians to head outdoors and discover Canada’s biodiversity: http://www.nationalwildlifeweek.com/

CWF’s goal is to have enough kilometres from participants to have walked across Canada from coast to coast, and create national awareness about wildlife conservation and biodiversity. CWF will be counting kilometres until May 22, the International Day of Biodiversity.

ADIGI BOOKS IS HOLDING A MODERN  SAGES CONFERENCE AT THE DOWNTOWN RED DEER LIBRARY ON WEDNESDAY APRIL 7TH.  There will be a FREE ART SHOW from 5 to 7pm and then the Conference starts at 7 and goes to 9:30pm.   I will be there with a table and information on the products and services we offer. WRITING CHALLENGE TO WIN A TICKET TO THE CONFERENCE:

I invite you to share a spiritual story.  It could be something you have experienced, or something someone you know experienced.  I want to hear what your experiences have been as you have become more aware of the energetic spiritual world around you.   They can be funny stories of events , or sad stories or scary stories – whatever kinds of things that have happened  leaving no doubt that this physical life is not all there is.  It could be about loved ones who have passed, pets who do strange things, dreams you have had, anything that makes you feel like there is more than the naked eye can see.  It could be a story you see as miraculous, unbelievable or even downright strange.

Email your story to sharyn@thestudiohhc.com with MY STORY in the subject line.  I ask you to limit your story to approx. 750 words so it doesn’t get too long and cumbersome.  I also ask that you have fun doing this and perhaps utilize the skills of spellcheck so the editing is minimal should it be published for you.  All submissions may be published by the Studio HHC and become Studio property.  Writers will be given credit upon possible publication for their submissions if they wish.

You have until Midnight, Sunday April 4th to submit your story.  The two ticket winners will be notified on Monday April 5th by email and by phone so include your phone number.  You will be recognized by posting at the Adigi Event as the successful winner as well.  Selected stories will be published on the website at www.thestudiohhc.com with or without your name -which ever is your preference.   This is exciting so good luck to all the budding spiritual writers out there – Happy writing!!!
